Walk in wardrobes: how to design the perfect space

Welcome back to the Premier Crafts blog, this week we’re turning our attention to walk in wardrobes and the bespoke service we provide to help clients create the closet of their dreams.

Before we run you through the benefits of investing in a walk in wardrobe, and what that process looks like when you choose to purchase with Premier Crafts, we want to inform you about an exciting spring promotion we have running.

May Premier Crafts Offer:

We’re offering FREE fittings to all customers that book in with us during the month of May. Fittings are normally provided at an additional cost and can range anywhere between £600 – £1000, so this really isn’t an opportunity to pass up. If you’re in the market for a new kitchen, or you’re pondering turning the guest bedroom into a walk in wardrobe to envy, now’s the time to get in touch with us!

Why Invest In A Walk In Wardrobe?

“I have no clothes” is one of the biggest lies we tell ourselves. The truth is, most of us have ample clothes, with wardrobes that are bursting at the seams with apparel, accessories and shoes. We’re only convinced we “have no clothes” because of our cramped closets. These unorganised spaces make the idea of piecing an outfit together feel like more of a headache than a joy.

The beauty of walk in wardrobes is that you’re not confined to a small, cluttered space that fills you with dread every time you open its doors. With the right layout, shelving, hangers and lighting – that are all tailored to your preferences – the whole ambience of your room can be upgraded. Your approach to dressing will also take a positive shift.

You’ll never regret investing in a walk in wardrobe and here are some reasons why…

Better Organisation:

Make getting dressed a breeze with a walk in wardrobe that is spacious and organised by type, colour, season, and any other category that makes sense to you and your life. Not only is this visually appealing but it will also save you time trying to find specific pieces of clothing.

Enhance Aesthetics:

A modern, well-designed walk in wardrobe can add significant value to your home and make it more attractive to potential buyers. Plus, it’s a space that will feel luxurious and indulgent for you to enjoy every day.

Superb Functionality:

When designed to serve your unique needs, for example incorporating a vanity area, Premier Crafts create rooms that work for you and your lifestyle.

Buying Walk In Wardrobes with Premier Crafts:

When coming in to purchase a walk in wardrobe from us, you’ll sit down with one of our designers so they can get a feel for your vision. We love it when clients come armed with a Pinterest mood board, these creative reference points can be shared with the designer to help your personal style shine through.

A member of our team will be assigned to your project from start to finish, so for any questions you have – be it delivery or installation – we’ll be on hand every step of the way to answer them. Our fitters are also extremely helpful and will make the installation process seamless.

Upon completion, a member of the Premier Crafts team will be in touch to arrange a time to take pictures/videos of your finished room. We do this because 1. We love to see the room lived in, exactly the way you imagined it and accessorised with personal, decorative items 2. We deliver a little gift from the team as a thank you for trusting us with your home and your vision.

We really do pride ourselves on providing top-notch service and quality craftsmanship, just take a little look at our reviews (below) for proof. "We have nothing but praise for this company"

We had our kitchen fitted and from the first visit to the showroom to the finish of job we have nothing but praise for this company. Jason did an excellent job of planning and the tradesmen were highly skilled and very polite. They answered all of our questions. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

We recently had our new kitchen installed and couldn't be happier with the result. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding —every detail had been carefully thought through, combining style with practical functionality. The customer service throughout the process was equally impressive. Communication was clear, timely, and professional, and we always felt listened to. Any questions or changes were handled promptly and with a real sense of care and pride in the project. The quality of the kitchen itself is second to none. You can tell just by opening a drawer or running your hand along the worktops that this is a product built to last. Special mention has to go to the fitter, whose talent and attention to detail were exceptional. We’re absolutely thrilled with the end result and would recommend this team to anyone looking for a kitchen that delivers on both design and quality, backed by genuinely excellent service.

Excellent service from start to finish. Jason took our ideas and developed a perfect plan for our en suit bathroom. He gave us great advice about which materials worked well together and matched them to our idea of using brushed brass as the taps and shower fittings. Tony the fitter was an excellent craftsman. His work is exemplary. We are over the moon with the final result.

Premier Crafts redesigned & converted our kitchen, dining room and sun lounge extension into one open plan living area and refitted our utility room. Aaron led on the design and supported by Richard, they managed the project throughout. All the staff and workmen were friendly, trustworthy and professional. Much of the work was done whilst we were away on holiday. A couple of glitches were quickly sorted and the end result is exactly what we wanted. It looks fantastic. A big thank you to all involved, I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Premier Crafts have been friendly, professional and efficient from the very first meeting I had with Rebecca at the Washington showroom to then discussing my kitchen design with Aaron at the Cleadon showroom. Aaron suggested great ideas for the best use of the space due to his expertise in design. During the kitchen fitting, Richard communicated all schedules to keep me up to date on the project which I found not only very considerate, but also helpful. Reese, Jake and Paul could not have worked harder to get the job done in the short time that had been advised. All of their finishing touches have been completed to a very high standard. I hugely appreciate all the extra personalised finishing touches that go over and above what is required. For example, the cleaning service offered once the kitchen had been fitted, plus the coasters and chopping board to match the work tops. I would highly recommend Premier Crafts to anyone who is looking for a new kitchen. Thanks again to all of you I have mentioned and the wider team for all your hard work.

Can’t rate the team at Premier crafts high enough. We had a kitchen and booth seating design thought out and with some minor tweaks from Aaron my dream kitchen was realised. We have secret doors with hidden wine racks a fantastic breakfast cupboard and pan drawers galore. The team were fantastic installing it with special thanks to Paul the fitter who really is a perfectionist. Can’t thank you all enough.

Had new kitchen installed by Premier crafts in February. From planning to final fitting everything was done professionally. Aaron was a great help putting the design together while Helen helped us decide which colour and pattern combination of doors, worktops and floor would work best for us. The fitting itself was well organised,. The old kitchen was dismantled and taken away on day one and replastered by the end of day two. Then electrician, plumber and fitter all worked together giving us a usable kitchen within just over a week. MJM flooring the finished the floor a few days later and we were done..We then had a visit from Helen who gave all the cupboards and draws a good clean which was a nice touch. A few days after the final payment had been made we discovered a couple of small chips on a kickboard and filler which were rectified hassle free with a quick phone call. All in all would highly recommend.

We couldn’t be happier with our superb new kitchen, designed and fitted by Premier Crafts. Within this project, Premier Crafts also assisted with a remodel, including knocking down a structural wall. We would highly recommend them and have used them in our previous house for a kitchen and two bathroom projects, a testament to their high quality service. They were able to translate our ideas into reality and make us aware of our options and key things to consider. They supported our unique design ideas and the finished product is better than we could imagine. Every member of the Premier Crafts team is really friendly and helpful, with really great communication and excellent customer service.
