What to expect as a Premier Crafts customer

For over 20 years, we have been creating custom-built, luxurious kitchen, bedroom and bathroom spaces for homes throughout the North East. During that time, our top priority has always been to ensure that each and every customer has a positive and memorable experience with us, from the initial consultation through to the completion of their renovation and beyond.

In this blog post, we break down what we think truly sets us apart from national chain retailers so that you know what to expect when you opt for a kitchen, bedroom or bathroom renovation with us.

Free initial design & consultation

We pride ourselves on taking the time to get to know you. Once an enquiry is made, we will sit down with you at a time that is convenient in order to gain a better understanding of your unique style, your budget and any must-have features that need to be included in your dream kitchen design.

At this point, we can offer tailored advice and give you guidance on elements that may or may not work in your space and offer alternatives where appropriate. Combining aesthetic appeal with functionality, we will create a 3D digital design of your dream kitchen so that you can envision what your completed space will look like in situ. Everything is included within the quote and there are no hidden service costs to worry about. There is never any obligation to go ahead with the project at this stage.

A dedicated Project Manager

We understand how frustrating it can be when you visit a showroom, have a chat with a salesperson and then you can never get through to the same person when you have a pressing question or concern. At Premier Crafts, we are committed to offering a personal service from start to finish and we will make sure that you have one point of contact throughout the whole process. We understand that renovations can be stressful, and your dedicated Project Manager will be on-hand to alleviate some of the pressure, bring peace of mind to the proceedings and make your project run as smoothly as possible.

Unlike larger chains, our company owner and director, Jason, plays a hands-on role in each project, also acting as Lead Surveyor to ensure a seamless design process and providing one-to-one support to each customer.

In-house installation team

Our close-knit team of designers, craftsmen and fitters all operate under our designated workshop roof and have an in-depth understanding of the ins and outs of each project, as well as having expert knowledge of the materials and products being used. We offer a full-service installation including plumbing, gas and electricals. Our fitters will take the utmost care when installing your kitchen, bathroom or bedroom and are extremely courteous and respectful when working in your home.

He gave us great advice about which materials worked well together and matched them to our idea of using brushed brass as the taps and shower fittings. Tony the fitter was an excellent craftsman. Premier Crafts redesigned & converted our kitchen, dining room and sun lounge extension into one open plan living area and refitted our utility room. Aaron led on the design and supported by Richard, they managed the project throughout. All the staff and workmen were friendly, trustworthy and professional. Much of the work was done whilst we were away on holiday. A couple of glitches were quickly sorted and the end result is exactly what we wanted. It looks fantastic. Premier Crafts have been friendly, professional and efficient from the very first meeting I had with Rebecca at the Washington showroom to then discussing my kitchen design with Aaron at the Cleadon showroom. Aaron suggested great ideas for the best use of the space due to his expertise in design. During the kitchen fitting, Richard communicated all schedules to keep me up to date on the project which I found not only very considerate, but also helpful. Reese, Jake and Paul could not have worked harder to get the job done in the short time that had been advised. All of their finishing touches have been completed to a very high standard. I hugely appreciate all the extra personalised finishing touches that go over and above what is required. For example, the cleaning service offered once the kitchen had been fitted, plus the coasters and chopping board to match the work tops. I would highly recommend Premier Crafts to anyone who is looking for a new kitchen. Thanks again to all of you I have mentioned and the wider team for all your hard work.

Can’t rate the team at Premier crafts high enough. We had a kitchen and booth seating design thought out and with some minor tweaks from Aaron my dream kitchen was realised. We have secret doors with hidden wine racks a fantastic breakfast cupboard and pan drawers galore. The team were fantastic installing it with special thanks to Paul the fitter who really is a perfectionist. Can’t thank you all enough.

Had new kitchen installed by Premier crafts in February. From planning to final fitting everything was done professionally. Aaron was a great help putting the design together while Helen helped us decide which colour and pattern combination of doors, worktops and floor would work best for us. The fitting itself was well organised,. The old kitchen was dismantled and taken away on day one and replastered by the end of day two. Then electrician, plumber and fitter all worked together giving us a usable kitchen within just over a week. MJM flooring the finished the floor a few days later and we were done..We then had a visit from Helen who gave all the cupboards and draws a good clean which was a nice touch. A few days after the final payment had been made we discovered a couple of small chips on a kickboard and filler which were rectified hassle free with a quick phone call. All in all would highly recommend.
