Terms & Conditions

1 General Glossary

1.1 For the purpose of these terms and conditions, the following words shall have the following meanings:

“Us/we” shall mean Premier Crafts Ltd

“Customer/you” the person or organisation for whom we agree to carry out work and/or supply materials

“Our representative” shall be the person we send to you to do work.

1.2 You personally will be deemed to be our customer unless it is made clear to us who the customer is and we have confirmation that you have the right to instruct us on their behalf.

2 Quotations

2.1 Quotes will include labour and materials +VAT. The price will be fixed but manifest errors shall be exempted. Quotes may need to be revised if you change the scope of the work, if there is an increase in the price of materials, or if further works are needed to complete the job.

2.2 All quotations submitted by us remain open to acceptance for a period of thirty days from the date thereof. The quotation is based upon the conditions:

2.2.1 That the work will be carried out during normal working hours (08.30a.m. to 16.30p.m. Monday to Friday);

2.2.2 That we will be given unrestricted access to the premises upon which the work is to be executed; and

2.2.3 That all areas in or on which work is to be executed are fully accessible.

2.3 Acceptance of any quotation constitutes a warranty and representation by the Customer that the requirements of every applicable statute, order-in-council, regulation or direction, bye-law or other lawful requirement or instruction, whether of the Government or any local or other lawful authority, have been complied with and that every necessary licence, permit or authorities that may be required in connection with the work has/have been obtained.

2.4 A 50% deposit is required when you order your installation from us in order to pay for materials, this is non-refundable and will be deducted from your final bill.

2.5 Unless previously agreed in writing, redundant materials removed in the execution of the contract works shall remain the property of the Customer and will not be cleared from the site by us. Where prior agreement to remove materials has been made, such materials shall be deemed to become our property and responsibility upon removal, and we shall be liable for safe and proper disposal of the said property and shall abide by every applicable statute, council regulation or direction, bye-law or other lawful authority.

3 Timekeeping

3.1 We will make every effort to attend each job at the time and date agreed with you. However, we cannot accept any liability for either arriving late or the late delivery of materials.

4 Payment

4.1 Please refer to your payment breakdown in your specification that outlines our full payment schedule and terms & conditions.

4.2 In the event of payment not being made in accordance with these Conditions, interest will be charged on all outstanding monies at the rate of 4% over the HSBC Bank base rate per month for all consumer contracts and in accordance with statute and commercial guidelines for all business contracts.

5 Title to goods

5.1 Goods supplied and delivered by us to you, or your premises shall remain our property and we will continue to have title over them until paid for in full by the customer.

5.2 If you instruct us to do works or buy materials and then cancel, we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of any time and materials incurred by us.

5.3 Warranty on all items wont be activated until final payment has been received.

5.4 Any damaged or faulty goods which are delivered to us from our suppliers for your job will not be accepted by us even though it may affect progress on the installation. We cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience you may suffer as a result, since such situations are beyond our control. As we are are a bespoke supplier, sometimes materials can be cut wrong by the installation team, we will do everything possible to replace these products ASAP.

6 General Notes

6.1 We reserve the right to refuse or decline to undertake any work.

6.2 We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to choose who will represent us.

6.3 Bathrooms: Where a shower is being installed we require an extractor fan to be installed with the necessary extraction rate based on the room size to remove moisture from the room. Otherwise furniture guarantees could be affected and void if manufacture deems extraction is not sufficient. We will always advise to install a new extractor or upgrade an existing fan, but if you do not want to take our advice on this aspect of your bathroom installation we can not be held responsible for any after affects from moisture on any bathroom products installed.

6.4 This contract is subject to the condition that any existing plumbing, electrical or gas system or part thereof, which is to form a part of, or to be used in conjunction with, any installation and/or goods which is/are the subject of this contract, is/are in good working order. No responsibility is accepted for the efficient or effective working of such existing system and/or goods or any part thereof.

6.5 These terms and conditions may not be released, discharged, supplemented, interpreted, varied or modified in any manner except by an instrument in writing signed by our duly authorised representative and you. Your entering into a contract with us determines your unequivocal acceptance of our terms and conditions and acceptance that these terms and conditions shall prevail over any previous terms and conditions used by you or contained, set out or referred to in any documentation sent to us by you other than those amended and executed by our duly authorised representative and you.

6.6 These terms and conditions and all contracts awarded between us and the Customer shall be governed and construed in accordance with English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

6.7 We are a family run business offering a high quality bespoke service if the customer has any issues about the services or products that we have supplied and installed we will do our best to resolve them directly. If this issue cannot be resolved between the customer and us then the Consumer Ombudsman can intervene to help us come to a satisfactory conclusion for both parties.

Premier Crafts redesigned & converted our kitchen, dining room and sun lounge extension into one open plan living area and refitted our utility room. Aaron led on the design and supported by Richard, they managed the project throughout. All the staff and workmen were friendly, trustworthy and professional. Much of the work was done whilst we were away on holiday. A couple of glitches were quickly sorted and the end result is exactly what we wanted. It looks fantastic. Premier Crafts have been friendly, professional and efficient from the very first meeting I had with Rebecca at the Washington showroom to then discussing my kitchen design with Aaron at the Cleadon showroom. Aaron suggested great ideas for the best use of the space due to his expertise in design. During the kitchen fitting, Richard communicated all schedules to keep me up to date on the project which I found not only very considerate, but also helpful. Reese, Jake and Paul could not have worked harder to get the job done in the short time that had been advised. All of their finishing touches have been completed to a very high standard. I hugely appreciate all the extra personalised finishing touches that go over and above what is required. For example, the cleaning service offered once the kitchen had been fitted, plus the coasters and chopping board to match the work tops. Can’t rate the team at Premier crafts high enough. We had a kitchen and booth seating design thought out and with some minor tweaks from Aaron my dream kitchen was realised. We have secret doors with hidden wine racks a fantastic breakfast cupboard and pan drawers galore. The team were fantastic installing it with special thanks to Paul the fitter who really is a perfectionist. Can’t thank you all enough.

Had new kitchen installed by Premier crafts in February. From planning to final fitting everything was done professionally. Aaron was a great help putting the design together while Helen helped us decide which colour and pattern combination of doors, worktops and floor would work best for us. The fitting itself was well organised,. The old kitchen was dismantled and taken away on day one and replastered by the end of day two. Then electrician, plumber and fitter all worked together giving us a usable kitchen within just over a week. MJM flooring the finished the floor a few days later and we were done..We then had a visit from Helen who gave all the cupboards and draws a good clean which was a nice touch. A few days after the final payment had been made we discovered a couple of small chips on a kickboard and filler which were rectified hassle free with a quick phone call. All in all would highly recommend.
